Family Feast Part 3: Getting those Christmas Decorations On Point

Getting those Christmas Decorations On Point (and Keeping Them Out of Reach of Grabby Relatives)

It’s time for the joyous task of getting those Christmas decorations on point! But wait, there’s another challenge – keeping them out of reach from those grabby relatives. It’s like a game of hide and seek, where your precious Christmas ornaments are the prize and your relatives are the sneaky competitors.

I know, I know. It’s completely uncouth to speak of such things and I’m sure that there are very few families out there with this issue, but I have heard of a few…through the grapevine of course. But when you go to the trouble and expense of decking the halls in superior fashion, you don’t want any of those special pieces running away.

So, how can you ensure that your creative holiday decorating ideas are safe from prying hands? Well, you could try hanging decorations high up on the tree or strategically placing them in hard-to-reach spots. Just make sure you don’t create a hazardous obstacle course in the process!

Keeping those Christmas Decorations Safe

One option might be an obvious security camera situation. I mean, It couldn’t hurt. Keep your family (and the family jewels) safe and under surveillance. You might even consider the even more obvious sign hanging that states something to the effect of “You are being watched”…or something like that. …just a thought.

If that doesn’t work, you might consider investing in some decoy Christmas decorations. You know, those fake ones that look so enticing but won’t cause any heartache if they accidentally go missing. It’s like setting up a trap for your relatives’ wandering hands – they’ll be none the wiser!

But hey, let’s not forget that it’s all in good fun. After all, what would the holidays be without a little chaos and some family members who just can’t resist touching everything? So embrace the madness and enjoy the festive spirit while keeping your creative decor safe from those grabby relatives. May the best decorator win!
