Farmhouse Christmas Style on Display
One of the most popular home decor styles for the holidays is Farmhouse Christmas Decor. There is just something about that look that encourages a feeling of home, family, and warmth. The following photos display the effortless comfort of a cozy Farmhouse Christmas style with subtle touches here and there, nothing over the top, simply just enough.
Unobtrusive evergreen garland on the banister, swags of evergreen and pinecones hanging here and there, and unadorned evergreen trees standing nearby, all offering a subtle air of Christmas. Photo credits to Twelve on Main
Farmhouse Christmas Table Styling
In farmhouse style interior design, Christmas or otherwise, the warmth of wood is always an important element. There is something timeless and stable about the presence of wood in the decor. The photos below show a very simple dining area, with a moderate amount of Christmas decor, but the warmth of the wooden elements is so welcoming. Photo credits to Designed Simple
Just a Touch of Color
Color doesn’t have to be overwhelming to make itself known. Touches of your chosen color, here and there, make a statement—without screaming it. The photos below offer a slightly different spin on Farmhouse Christmas style with a pop of red as well as some scattered vintage elements, farmhouse and vintage style go hand in hand seamlessly. Nature Falls Right Into Place
The Design Twins offer this beautiful family room, decked out in fuzzy throws and pillows and accented with natural elements like evergreens and antlers. Farmhouse style with touches of Christmas.
Traditional Farmhouse Christmas
This traditional Christmas tree holds a very farmhouse feel, nostalgic even. It honestly reminds me of all of my childhood Christmas trees; natural, and understated.
Another element to pay attention to is the use of very farmhouse details as shown below. Photo credits to My Life on Kaydeross Creek
Something Unexpected
The following photos from Unexpected Elegance display a look that I always love to find. While the obvious overall effect is clearly a very Farmhouse Christmas style, there is another element that strays from that look, yet ties it all up beautifully.
The addition of the sparkly white trees on the mantle adds that awesome touch of ‘leather and lace’ or ‘denim and pearls’. I absolutely love the impact.
Now, add that to the natural elements of evergreen and the wooden bead garland and you have an unexpected twist.
Farmhouse Christmas Kitchen
Farmhouse Christmas style in the kitchen is exhibited in small increments in the photos below. Seeking Lavender Lane uses simple additions of evergreens, tucked into unexpected places, alongside copper cookie cutters and a few candy canes. That is all that it took to add the feeling of a Farmhouse Christmas.
Additional Elements
A touch of something here and there. It doesn’t have to be huge, just something that follows your design theme can help you create a beautiful Farmhouse Christmas atmosphere.
