Marriage Matters: Love in the Middle of the Mess
Big moments are memorable. But small gestures are what keep love breathing.
Love lives in the everyday acknowledgments. A touch as you pass by. A chore done without comment. A message sent just to say, “I see you.”
These gestures are easy to overlook because they don’t demand attention. But they quietly communicate safety, care, and presence.
On the farm, the small daily tasks matter most. Watering. Feeding. Checking fences. Skip them long enough and things unravel quickly. Marriage works the same way.
You don’t need grand plans or extra money to nurture love. You need intention. You need awareness. You need the willingness to notice the person you live alongside.
Small gestures say, “You matter even when life is busy.” And that message, repeated often enough, becomes a powerful anchor.
