My name is Amy Bell and I welcome you to A Life on the Farm, where everything is laid back, relaxed and homespun.
Background-Amy Bell
I am a born and raised country girl from Southern Oklahoma and that is the life that I love. My background is pretty well widespread.
I am a retired military police officer for the United States Army and the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
I have served in two separate wars; Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
I loved my service and wouldn’t take for the experience that it provided me, however I am ecstatic to be home, full time, with my family.
Who I Am and What I Do
I am also a mother to five precious children and the wife of one wonderful man. Our lives have been blessed beyond measure in more ways than we deserve or that I could ever even count.
God has been very good to us over the years and we strive, as a family, to live our lives in a way that would make Him proud, constantly searching for new ways to be good stewards of all of those blessings.
Our family lives, loves and learns right here on the land that God gave us and I love to share!
A Life on the Farm is the more personal side of Two Oaks Farmstead. I write about all of our adventures in homeschooling, farming and gardening as well as personal and family relationships …anything that God puts in my heart.
I put the more technical stuff on Two Oaks Farm Talk. I hope you hang out a while, come back often and enjoy joining us. As always, I welcome your comments and input! I fully believe that we can all learn from one another and help each other grow!
–Sincerely,
Amy Bell
