When God Speaks
Comfort One Another
I thought about and prayed about what subject God would have me speak on this week. For a while, I kinda thought that I was a little ‘blocked’ by everything going on in the world right now. That can certainly happen. Especially when there is so much turmoil.
The only thing that anyone is talking about here recently is the Corona Virus. It just seems to be sucking up all the oxygen in all places. And, of course, hysteria, breeds hysteria, so everything is just getting more and more amped up.
Comfort in the Midst of Hysteria
As I was thinking about it and praying about it, however, I saw a news story concerning some really good deeds and actions that are currently being carried out in the midst of all the craziness and it allowed me to take a bit of a breath, realizing that there is still so much good out there. We just need to share that.
Comfort One Another
(God) comforts us all in our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:4
In this time of turmoil, let us be a blessing to others, as God has blessed us. I believe this is the original pay it forward! Lets do that and try to be the difference that someone else is needing!
